Job Description:
Education officers are responsible to teach troops so that they can keep pace with the advancement in new technology, weapon systems, electronics and computerization etc. They too are specialized to handle small arms during war time and look into the administrative duties.
How to Join:
Through National Defence Academy (NDA)
(i) Type of Entry - National Defence Academy (NDA).
(One year at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun).
(ii) Mode of Selection - Apply to Additional Directorate General of Recruiting Army Headquarters, West Block III, RK Puram New Delhi-66.
Service Selection Board interview.
(iii) Advertisement Schedule - Advertised in all National Leading Newspapers/Employment News in Apr/May and Nov/Dec every year.
(iv) Status Awarded - Captain in Regular Army.
Qualification:

(i) Academics - Post Graduate Degree in Subjects notified for each course.
(ii) Age - Between 23-27 years.
