Job Description:
An Account Executive works in the ‘Client Servicing Department’ of an advertising agency, which as the name suggests, is responsible for liaisoning between the client and the agency. In advertising, the business with each client is referred to as an ‘account’ and each such account is assigned to a team of people headed by the Account Executive. The Account Executive supervises his team, drawn from all departments while planning, scheduling and executing the assignment.
Educational Qualification:
Management graduates are preferred for posts in the client-servicing department. An advertising qualification is also useful.

Career opportunities in advertising exist in advertising agencies; advertising departments of a private or a public sector company; advertising section of newspapers, journals and magazines; commercial section of radio or television and market research organisations.
Remuneration:
Starting salary is Rs. 6,500 per month (excluding other allowances)
