Nutritionists
Job Description:
Nutritionists counsel individuals and groups, organize and supervise food service systems in hospitals, hotels schools, community centres, prisons etc. They study the effects of variety of food on an individual and work with normal people as well as convalescents. Their work has two aspects i.e. of prevention and rehabilitation.
Educational Qualification:
Desirable qualification is B.Sc. in Home Science with postgraduate diploma in dietetics or public health nutrition. Also see introduction to Nutrition and Dietetics.
