Job Description:
Radiological Technicians specialize in various diagnostic-imaging procedures like radiography, sonography, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Some may also specialise in radiation therapy and nuclear medicine. The work done by them is both diagnostic as well as therapeutic. They work with Radiologists and Ultrasonologists, carrying out routine work like taking X-Rays, CT Scans, and MR Scans of patients and maintaining records. They also usually assist Radiologists in the treatment of malignant diseases, by means of radiations. The flip side of the profession is harmful effect of radiation.

Paramedics after training in their particular area of specialisation can work in government and private hospitals, clinics, private nursing homes, public health organizations, research institutions, pharmaceutical concerns and medical institutions.
