Job Description:
Media Department is responsible for the positioning of an advertisement in the press radio or television as well as identifying and procuring display space. Media Executive identifies the appropriate media, location or time slots for advertisements, keeping in mind the target audience as well as the budget.

Educational Qualification:
A degree in Advertising & Mass Communication or Management graduates with specialization in Marketing. Computer literacy is an important requisite for personnel in the media department.

Career opportunities in advertising exist in advertising agencies; advertising departments of a private or a public sector company; advertising section of newspapers, journals and magazines; commercial section of radio or television and market research organizations.

Remuneration:
Starting salary is Rs. 6,500 per month (excluding other allowances)
