These new hi-tech war machines have awesome firepower, state-of-the art weapon control systems, computer controlled machinery and a high standard of habitability. One major responsibility of the submarines in peacetime is to train for war as effectively as possible in the knowledge that this will contribute to its prevention. The rigorous training for this sub-branch is conducted at Visakhapatnam.

Qualification:

(ii) Age - 16½ to 19 years.
B) Graduate Entry
(i) Qualifications - B.Sc. (Physics and Mathematics) or B.E.
(ii) Age - 19 to 22 years.
C) NCC Special Entry
(i) Qualifications - B.SC. (Physics and Mathematics) or B.E. with Naval Wing Senior Division NCC ‘C’ Certificate.
(ii) Age - 19 to 24 years.
