Job Description:
Physics is a fundamental science and chemists, engineers, biologists as well as doctors need a basic understanding of the subject. The flight of a space shuttle, the accuracy of medical equipment or the mechanics of a car would all depend on research of the physicist. Work for a physicist is basically research based and is generally performed by a group of scientists working together or in tandem. They often work in related areas of astrophysics, astronomy, biophysics, nuclear physics, meteorology and so on.

Postgraduates and Doctorate in Physics

The physicists are employed in wide variety of research and development in different industries and areas of applications like Geophysics, Space Physics, Instrumentation and Medical Physics etc. Moreover, they are also required for defence, aerospace, astro–nautical oceanography research work.
